I’ve noticed lately that many people I come across complain that making food at home is too time consuming, too expensive, and that they can never get their recipes to come out right. I’m here to tell you that all of those problems can be solved.
I work full time as an application developer, sit on the board of two local charities, have three crazy dogs and am trying to pay off a good chunk of debt and buy a house. Do you think I have time to spend hours making dinner for myself or the four other people in my house that may or may not be present? Absolutely not!
I typically go grocery shopping once or twice a week depending on if I change my mind on dinner mid-week or if someone sneaks into the fridge and eats half of my ingredients. Stuff happens! You just have to make the best of it.
Many other websites that offer recipes and tips on cooking quickly, cheaply, and easily have recipes that seem to focus heavily on carbohydrates and processed foods put together to make a meal. This doesn’t have to be the case! To be quite honest, I don’t even own a microwave! I have quite possibility the tiniest kitchen known to mankind and there’s just simply no room!
I want to show you it is possible to make quick, cheap, easy AND healthy recipes. Everyone one can cook, they typically just need some help along the way. No one was born knowing their ABCs or how to ride a bike, everyone needed some help. I’m here to answer your questions and am taking suggestions for things you would like to see. ~Elise
